Beautiful village, and some fun shops, especially like going to the church thrift shop 2 Jarves Street...always seem to find just the right thing, I didn't know I needed. Books, glassware, some clothes. Volunteer staff very helpful. Then, down the road, a must stop Twin Acres Ice Cream (on 6A), very nicely manicured and good outside seating.

Tea Rooms, lovely inns, pretty scenery, museums, art galleries, gift shops and many restaurants. As well as a beach you can walk to. Love it.

Quaint NE village with interesting shops. More attractions are open in the summer. Were there for an unexpected First Night and enjoyed the festivities.

combined with modern amenities. The Cape Cod Railroad, the Glass Museum, Heritage Plantation, the Burgess Museum, the Grist Mill, the Hoxie House, and the Marshland Restaurant will take several days to visit.

This is such a cute village - its got everything that you would want to see in a historic village - a nice tearoom/cake shop is about all that is really missing. Pond to mill, cute town hall and church and other interesting elements.

the historic area of the village has an authentic historic appeal, very unlike those locations create a historic look. Sandwich has been able to retain enough original structures and town plan layout that evolved. Enjoyable place!

Sandwich is a town with lots of beautiful, historic, and well maintained homes and buildings. The shops are fun for browsing and there seem to be good choices for restaurants. It's New England charm at its best!

Well if there is an 'Historic Village' we failed to find it. A few shops and a church. Can't see what the fuss is about.
