We all enjoyed this museum and especially the demonstration of a glass piece being made. The glassblower was incredible and very informative. It is quite a unique talent. The museum is large and has several different rooms and a gift shop to buy some beautiful pieces. We didn't care for the movie but were waiting for the demonstration to begin... More

I felt the orientation movie and glass demonstration was informative and interesting. The rest of the museum was so-so to me. However, I'm sure this would be highly interesting for someone who is into antiques or cut/colored glass.

This is a great little museum. Reasonably priced and well-curated. The orientation movie is a little hokey (but good for kids, I think) and the acting is rather poor, but it gives a good history of Sandwich and the glass factory. Really enjoyed the glass blowing demo and viewing the different wares produced at the glass factory in Sandwich. Nice... More

Watching how a glass vase is made is quite an exciting time. It kind of makes you want to try it yourself. The artist makes it look so so easy. Come see for yourself how it's done. Free tours can be scheduled to see the whole operation. Kids love it and so do all the grownups I saw viewing the... More

Many interesting glass pieces with history attached. Was a little surprised that they charged admission, but you can go into the shop free at least if your just interested in picking up a hand made piece. Bring your wallet though as they are generally more expenisve than the Pairpoint factory outlet in Bourne that does not charge admission but lets... More

This is a very good museum. It's very informative. There is live demo and movie, they are very nice. Illustrations are very interesting. Entrance fee is very affordable. Items in the gift shop were a little bit expensive.

On February 2nd, my whole family visited the museum. What a great experience. The display rooms were beautiful, the demonstration of glass blowing was great. If you have an interest in antique glass, you could do no better than to visit this wonderful museum. There are items on display that will astound you. Made 150 years ago, the beautiful glass... I have visited this museum about one every 5 years for many years. They continue to have special exhibits (this month it is on snow globes) which I enjoy. They have an on site glass designer who has worked there full time for7 years, demonstrating ow to make glass articles. The day we were there she demonstrated a glass press... More
