We loved the Chesapeake Bay sunset view. Lots of places to walk and just soak in the fresh air. Very rural and green.

We traveled to Tilghman Island in the past and are looking forward to another relaxing week there. Time slows down, you get to enjoy good food and time with your family. For a small island, there are great restaurants in different price ranges.
Our son, daughter-in-law and two grandkids took us to Tilghman Island as part of our year long celebration of our 50th anniversary. It was a splendid weekend. I had been to Tilghman before...years ago but never stayed. We rented a nice house right on the water...incredible sunsets. A wonderful little country store with farm fresh eggs, terrific applesmoked bacon and...

It is a nice trip to ride to Tilghman and to spend time seeing the island and going to the great restaurants.
Not somewhere that anyone should really head on purpose. Sort of a dumpy little town where a bunch of cranky people live. Stay in Easton, save the gas.
Tilghman Island seems to be more for the fisherman. It was good just to check it out since not far from St. Michael's. Decided to eat at Harrisons.
Drove down just to checkout this area. We had planned to bike down but glad we didn't. Nice view but little else to see or do. The area is a bit isolated with few restaurants.
We know the Bay well and enjoyed the ride down to Tilghman Island. However, there isn't much to see and do. The main event is Bay One Hundred Restaurant next to the bridge right before you go over to the Island. Have lightly fried oysters and sit and watch all the boats navigate Knapps Narrows.
