We have been enjoying Bread and Roses deliciousness for at least five years and have yet to be disappointed. Birthday cake, coffee balls, HUGE chocolate chip cookies are all fantastic here. We live about an hour from Manhattan and recently rented an apartment in Paris, two cities that are well-known for amazing food, and I can say without a doubt... More

I don't think I've ever seen a bakery case as full of scrumptious looking goodies. There is everything from whoopie pies to scones to artisan breads and cakes. We had a delicious slice of wedding cake and a tasty palmier. Will try more on next visit. Definitely worth a look when you are in Ogunquit.

There are not too many bakeries where you can find the most delicious gluten free cookies....among a lot of other great tastes.

Stopped in to pick up a pie as a thank you gift. While we were there we couldn't help but resist the dessert cases calling our name! Filled with gorgeous selections, it was hard to decide. We settled on a vegan rasberry-oatmeal bar, a peanut butter chocolate bar as well as a muffin and scone for breakfast. All were amazing!.... More

The baked goods were delicious and smoothies refreshing. Centrally located among the shops along Route 1A. A must stop in Ogunquit.

This is a wonderful bakery - everything is made with unbleached flour so you know the people care about quality! A huge variety of baked goods available even just before they close at 11 PM! Always crowded and it should be with the great treats they are selling! Love this sweet little bakery with both a new age and old... More

Very cute little bakery, yea they were frazzled when it was packed (which was 99% of the time, but who isn't?!) but the food was amazing flat out best food ever who ever says otherwise obviously revied the wrong place. I would reccomend sitting on the street bench though, the alley way seating was nice until a wild bird attacked... More

Whenever I enter Bread and Roses, I am immediately struck with the realization that I want to eat pretty much everything on display. I won't go into details, as there are far too many to remember, but suffice to say: phenomenal baked goods, great coffee and the occasional extra selections (they had pizza one day - some of the best... Everything I have ever had from this place is excellent quality, homemade and delicious...from the wrap sandwiches to the pies. Blueberry pie tastes like Mom's and I love the fact that they also have several vegan selections. Friendly staff also. But...my advice is go early on busy mornings like Saturdays for best selection.
