A beautiful place for outdoor enthusiasts. Moose safaris, white water rafting, lots of fishing. People unbelievably friendly and ready to help anyway they can.

Lots of trails, beautiful scenery. Will be going back again. Little Kineo was a good hike, and the only place we saw moose.
Very large lake. Ate at the Black Frog with a full view of the lake. Went on a boat ride, unfortunately it was cold and rainy but we still enjoyed ourselves. Sign up at North Woods Outfitters. The 2 guides were very friendly and brought wine, cheese and crackers, veggies with dip and cold shrimp to munch on during the...

Loved the natural beauty, and if you choose the chance to get away from it all. Area is one of the most enchanting areas in Maine

Simply enjoyed driving around the lake, stopping at many vantage points for pictures. Great places to walk and particularly love one spot where there were 3 beautiful old churches sitting side by side.
