We have visited the Standwood Sanctuary many times over the years. it's great and amazing that next to the HORRIBLE ELLSWORTH STRIP this piece of the natural world has been preserved. The trails are transcendentally beautiful. It's a tribute to conservation and preservation and a stunning indictment of the greed of Ellsworth town planners.
