when ever we have family or friends visit us, we always take them to see what ever is to be seen at the museum, what a gem!

We went to see an exhibit of Japanese prints which was very well done. Museum is free, but give a donoation.

When it gets dark at 4:30, what to do? This is a great art museum due to the generosity of the college's successful alumni. The best part? There is no admission charge so buy something in the gift shop on the way out. Not to be missed.

They have a good collection of paintings and other art, are right in downtown Brunswick and it's free.

Wonderful collection and a reaslly beautiful campus. The Bowdoin campus is so wonderful and varied in architecture. The museum has a varied exhibition schedule and a nice permanebt collection. Make sure you see the Peary Museum on campus also!

Of interest primarily for the special exhibits because the space is not very large. However, the upside of the small size is that one can see the whole thing in a reasonable time. If you are finished too quickly, walk on over to the Peary MacMillan Arctic Museum or Joshua Chamberlin's house; they're interesting too, especially the Arctic Museum.

Small but impressive collection, interesting and provocative visiting exhibits, very knowledgeable staff. The additions are architecturally exceptional.

The building is pretty, set up in a very organized, clear way. They have interesting exhibits - I saw the Wegman exhibit here, which was great! Would definitely go to another exhibit.
