If you are a Civil War enthusiast or have an interest in Maine history, you will love this museum. It was beautifully laid out with lots of memorabilia but plenty of space. It also provides a wonderful example of true Maine character.

the tour guide we had was excellent - he talked for an hour. I thought the entrance fee was reasonable.
