Norton Art Gallery is a hidden treasure in Shreveport. The grounds are beautiful, especially when the azaleas are in bloom. It is a favorite photography setting for families in our area. There are many treasures in the Art Gallery. I would recommend this to anyone who loves art and who enjoys a stroll in a beautiful garden area.

Who knew that this magnificent gallery existed??? We happened on the museum quite by chance- lucky us! The library alone is worth the visit! Some of the finest art in the world... amazing foundation! The largest collections of Remingtons in the world... the Audubon volumes, history comes alive in this lovely museum! We will return again and again!

What a great way to spend the afternoon. The Norton Art gallery has a nice selection of pieces (artwork, tapestries, sculpture, glass, dolls, and guns) It has something for everyone. I love going here when the flowers are in bloom. The grounds are gorgeous. There are several different exhibits, including a kid friendly (touchable) and this "gallery of dolls"

This is a fun place, especially in the spring. There is one room of statues for kids where they can touch and climb gently on, without getting into trouble. The gardens are very nice. A great place to go when you want to stroll around.

If you catch this place at the right time and can see all the Azaleas in full bloom. If not the the water features and spacious garden areas are great for a family get together. The artwork is nice inside. Something everyone should enjoy and should be on your mustdo list if you are visiting.
