This is a very comprehensive museum that you can spend hours in if you wish, and it is located very near the State Capitol which is also a very interesting place to go.

This museum has something for everyone. It has great science exhibitions, as well as art by regional artists. The exhibitions are continually changing, so who knows what you'll get to see. It's well worth the trip.

Liked the information and history. It did not have any information about hurricane Katrina yet. It was free so a great stop to spend 1-2 hours at. Do not miss the third floor as that was as enjoyable as the first.

The museum has lots to see. So much that figuring out the best path is difficult. It would be nice if a path were marked by timeline or something. Otherwise, it's a great free museum.
