This is a really cool way to learn alot about Kentucky and hear/see some of the commonwealth's most famous celebrities. Great for visitors and natives alike!
The Kentucky Show runs about 30 minutes and had a decent range of historical and cultural information regarding the state. It gives a nice overview of the area and is well-made. I'd also like to add that, although the gentleman who took our tickets was beyond friendly, the woman who sold them to us was rather rude and unpleasant. If... More
I'm so glad you enjoyed KentuckyShow! and found it interesting and informative. Over 200 Kentuckians were interviewed during the making of the show, so it was a true labor of love for many to produce it. I'm sorry for your experience at the box office; KentuckyShow! rents its theater space from The Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts so we... More
I always enjoy a film about a place's history and sights. This film presents a nice overview of Kentucky's history and sights to see. Make sure you get the discount for visiting several museums.
I enjoyed the movie , but felt it was somewhat disjointed and could have been a little more historical. I think the transitions from every point of the state lacked in reference points on a map and were more into cinemtography than into information. The narration was good and I did recall certain parts of the movie to my friends,... More
The KentuckyShow! is an outstanding movie very well narrated showing the best of Kentucky's culture and traditions to first time tourists and residents. The movie is suitable to all age groups with expectacular digital photographs, and video clips showing the history, music and entertainment, culture, sport events, museums, and much more. I personally adjusted my time schedule to visit Mohammed... More
Last Friday I had the wonderful and eye opening experiencing at the Kentucky Show. That should be everyone’s FIRST STOP when they visit Louisville. It was so interesting and captivating. I can’t thank you enough for allowing us the opportunity to view what my tour guests will be seeing. It was also interesting because of all the other places that... More
The Kentucky Show is only shown a few times a week. I showed up for the 11am showing on a Saturday. I bought my ticket and waited and waited and waited. No one showed up. Very disappointed and I wasted at least 45 minutes.
First, I'd like to thank you for reporting your frustrating episode and I'm very sorry this disappointing experience occurred. After some investigating, I discovered that The Kentucky Center employee who was scheduled to open KentuckyShow! that day had been in a car accident that morning and was a little shaken up. Thankfully, he's fine and made it in to run... More
What a wonderful introduction to this really lovely state. This was our first visit to Kentucky so we thought we would use this film as an introduction and start to our visit. Prepare to be embraced by the beauty of this state and its residents.
