It's not a huge space, so don't plan on spending all day here. They had a C.C. Coyle exhibit upstairs and Bourbon containers made out of ceramics down stairs. Nice gift shop, I bought some hand blown glass earrings for $26.

I realize several of the reviewers are disappointed with the size of this museum. It IS small - I won't dispute that. However, what they lack in quantity they make up for in quality. We saw three amazing installations on a recent visit, including my favorite, an exhibit on Harlan Hubbard (watch the movie they're showing!).

This is a good museum with plenty of interesting art and craftwork. I just wish it had a larger space for more exhibits.
Great art by Kentucky artists! It ranges from the common to the uncommon! Most items are reasonable priced and unique. The items range from glass to soap.
Need a souvenir? Need a gift from Kentucky to take home to someone? Don't buy a tacky souvenir when you can get something unique and of high quality at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft.
The building alone is incredible. Amazing old architecture that has been slightly modernized. So you have the old world along with the new. And then to add the wonderful art...... Amazing! A definate MUST see.
I was expecting more from the museum, however, there were a lot of interesting items....jewelry, wooden pieces, textiles. I just thought there would be more from local artists.

This is a regular stop for us when visiting Louisville. Always something interesting, with a good selection of local arts and crafts in a range of prices. The area seems to be attracting architects, designers, and related professions and old buildings are being renovated. Near restaurants and other attractions.
