If you are driving along I-75 in the Daniel Boone Country Region of Kentucky then in my opinion a visit to Cumberland Falls is a must. Visit at the right time and you will get to experience a rare phenomena, a “Moonbow” which only occurs here in the Western hemisphere. Traveling Southbound take exit 25 or going Northbound use exit... More

Went to see the waterfall for our 6th anniversary. Very pretty sight except the trash that worked its way up stream.

Beautiful waterfall with several vantage points to see it. Many great photo ops. Plenty of parking, nice gift shop with a large variety of reasonably priced items, snack bar, gem panning and hiking trails.

Quite interesting and well worth a short trip out of Corbin to see. One can get very close to the falls and there are several view points in the small park.

The park has great hiking trails and very knowledgeable and friendly rangers. That alone would have gotten the park a 5 of 5 but it is not the best part. The falls are absolutely amazing and worth the trip.

We were here on a kayak trip. The Cumberland River was raging due to a few days of heavy rain so no river kayaking. The hiking trails are very well marked and maintained and beautiful. Moonbow Falls and Eagle Falls were fantastic.

We went to Cumberland Falls late in the afternoon. The Falls and the area around the Falls are beautiful. By the time we arrived, the Visitor Center and Shop were closed and we left before it was dark and did not get to see the Moon Bow. But the drive up the mountain and the area around the Falls and... there are 2 pet-friendly rooms but unfortunately they are in the worst location. indoors next to the lobby - where they aren't allowed. one of our dogs could hear all the commotion outside the door of people walking to & fro so she would bark & stay agitated. i would suggest they be moved to the far end where there... I was concerned that there was too much walking but we were able to park near the falls and it was a short walk. The view was breathtaking.
