This place has always been great. It is even better without the curator stealing exhibits and selling them. Come here in summer. The air conidioning alone is worth the price of admission.

Some neat exhibits. Kids love the Dr show and the Imax theater is pretty cool. However, like everything its about money. Pricey to go view exhibits that used to be free 10 years ago that are still on display. Very educational for the kids and look forward to some day taking my daughter.
Along with the Underground Salt Museum 1 of 2 great attractions in Hutchinson, Kansas. We only had time to tour the museum galleries and didn't get to see any of the shows so my review is based on those only. They were first class with some amazing artifacts. Some were facsimilies but a great many were the originals which were...

Took the family here recently for our third-ever visit. We caught the big-screen movie and planetarium show, but the real star is the museum itself. It amazes me that a city like Hutchinson, Ks, has such an unbelievable historical showcase of the American (and Soviet) space programs. The museum takes you chronologically through space exploration, from the first conceived rockets,...

I was suprised at how wonderful this space center was. I have been to the one in Huston and this one is much better. It has the real Apollo 13 and the Mercury Liberty Bell. There is much more to do here than you would expect. We had a great time and a nice reasonably priced lunch in the restaurant.
We went to the cosmosphere on a weekday and they were not too busy. The museum was interesting for older children or adults. .young children seem less interested, theres a lot of reading with the exhibits. Dr goddards lab was fantastic! Much better than anticipated. They apparently allow high school students to come too and they were very disruptive and...

The display tells the story of space flight starting with the V-1 and V-2 rocket programs of WWII through to the Apollo-Soyuz program. Displays of note...

The price is well worth everything they have to offer. You and your child will most likely get something out of it. The Digetal Dome movies are wonderful. THe exhibits are set up very well and informative. There is alot to see. The Planetarium is a full experience in the stars. The Lab is also a very informative experience although...

this is a wonderful visit if you are in the area, I mean area as I would drive several hours to see this venue. The attraction is just fantastic, can be a little tiresome for kids 5 and under as most of the venue requires a great deal of reading and understanding of words probably not in their vocab yet...anyway,...
