We were not expecting much in a relatively small museum. It turned out that they really have a nice collection of regional artists as well as a traveling exhibit on the Negro Leagues in baseball. I'd recommend a visit if you're in South Bend.

This museum is housed in a contemporary building. We parked in the front. We were greeted by a charming lady who welcomed us warmly and explained the lay out. Wonderful art. A great little escape. And you can't beat the price. The museum was free except for the special exhibit which charged a minimal price.
