Marengo Cave is probably the prettiest cave in Southern Indiana. If you want to view beauty, this is the one to see.

We join the combo tour which has both Crystal palace and Dripstone trail, but I think the former one is more beautiful, but the second is still worthwhile to join if you have time, as there is some formation which can't be seen in the Crystal palace. The tour time is flexible, it depends on the number of visitors, and... More

So glad you enjoyed our cave tours, the Crystal Palace is my favorite too. I like the Dripstone also and tell families if they can only see one side to see this because the children like penny ceiling. Our tours are not on a set time, this actually works better for our customer. Then we can schedule the tours as... More

My 12-year-old son and I went to Marengo Cave for part of his spring break. I was able to make reservations to take both tours online and when we got there the check-in was quick and easy. Both tours were well-done by the tour guides, who talked to everyone in the group before the tour and made sure everyone felt... More

We are so glad you choose us to be apart of your Spring Break trip this year. We take the time to train our guides so that they are knowledgeable about the cave. The part of the cave that has the reflecting pool is called Mirror Lake, one of my favorite parts also. We do have a unique gift shop,... More

My family decided to do the Indiana Cave Trail for Spring Break this year. The trail includes Marengo Cave, Bluespring Caverns, and Squire Boone Caverns. You pick up a "Passport Card" at the first of the three locations, have it stamped at each location, and then when you finish the last one you get a free t-shirt for each person.... More

So glad you decided to go the Indiana Cave trails, and you enjoyed your time with us. Larry does a great job leading the tours, he is also the one that trains our new guides. It looks like your family would have enough people to to schedule your own under ground adventure soon. They need to be 10 and give... More

We completed the crystal tour and our boys, 7 and 5, enjoyed the reflection pool and the multiple cave formations. We did not have time to walk both tours and I think that we would have enjoyed the other tour also based upon what others were saying!!!

We were taken here during a business trip to Columbus Indiana. Good tour underground. Was amazed at the number of coins embedded in roof thrown by many visitors. Good information during tour & some spectacular underground scenery. Still have the tee shirt I bought here 5 years ago. Thoughly enjoyable morning visit, but need to wear a jacket or sweater... Wasn't sure I'd be able to handle being underground or even in complete darkness, but wanted to at least see the types of caves people lived/worked/hung out in before I die. So glad I did. It was a unique and fun experience. Did both tours in one day. It was easy and safe enough to walk through. The guides are... More

My family are very active cave visitors but this one we call a mud cave because of its lack of things found in most caves. The tour guides are very good at there job and make sure you have fun. This is a good cave for the kids and older people as there is not as much climbing. The gift... More

Being from Ky (a land of many caves) I was not expecting much. We were in the area, so on the whim decided to stop in on our drive back. I am glad we did. We decided to go with the Crystal Palace tour, based on two reasons (1) shorter of two tours, 40 min vs. 70 min (2) and... More
