nice park not to far from the downtown area. There are some cool historic artifacts here and a play area for the kids.

My husband and I enjoy strolling along the pathways and sitting by the river when we visit Galena. Very peaceful.

Don't miss a walk across the bridge to enjoy the view from the Park but go on...down to the river trail and to Otto's for breakfast, or straight up the hill to Grant's home. The park is neat, clean and perfect for young and old to stretch their legs or have a picnic.

Neat to see the different era cannons and the over-river look to the downtown Galena area. Also checkout the benches as they are all dedicated.

While my wife shopped, I used the walking bridge across the Galena River and discovered Grant Park. We always love visiting this park while we are in Galena. It is great to walk around in or sit and relax. There is a nice playground and in the summer pretty flowers.

The view of Galena from the park was beautiful - wonderful backdrop for a picnic or a small wedding.

the sidewalks through the park are numerous. the view along the 'river' are gorgeous. It is a peaceful place to visit and to walk through. I love that place!
