We were in town for a few days to visit the local college with our teenage son and had the opportunity to check-out a Seattle band that was playing at SPACE .... the venue was nice and small, and the sound quality was great. As a musician, sound is everything. This place is incredible. No seat farther that 40ft from the stage. Best small venue I have ever seen/heard. 10 STARS!!!

Hands down my favorite venue for music in Chicago. Very small, intimate room where amazing musicians from across the country perform. Tables are close to the stage and it feels like you are in your own living room. Grab a pizza from the restaurant in the front.

If there is an artist you like on the calendar, buy your tickets! It really is a great venue since it is small. The tables are the best if you can get one. You may be sharing with another couple (unless you have a foursome).

SPACE is a lovely, intimate place to hear great music. It ruins you for bigger venues! Plus, if you are hungry, the food at Union, adjacent to SPACE is fabulous!!

The attached restaurant has superb pizzas. The programs at Space are creative, imaginate, and de;lightfully varied. I especially love the pro arte evenings, with beautiful classical music. We are so lucky to have Space in Evanston!
