Nice beach, great for sunsets. I saw some women doing yoga in a group on the beach. This in one of the many beautiful beaches in Venice, Florida.

The most beautiful sunsets in the world and I've traveled across the Atlantic, Gulf, and Mediterranean Sea. Very clean beach and easy to walk on barefoot. No shark teeth but several ladies at the Goodwill store shared about 7 teeth with me to bring to the grandkids. A lovely place and I look forward to visiting again. Saw Manatees swimming...

I see people complaining because they didn't find shark's teeth at this beach? ...and that's their complaint? Seriously? This is a great beach that would get 5 stars if you put it on the east coast, or anywhere else in the US. A very good family beach, great facilities and convenient to great restaurants, shopping, and fishing. Well worth a...

If you want to go to Venice Beach to find shark's teeth you are in the wrong place. You want to travel south toward the pier about on half mile for that. I love the retro style pavilion! Built in the 60's it really gives a funking feel to this beach. We found our first sharks teeth here in the 80's and keep coming back. Be careful, the dark sand does heat up!
Free parking, restrooms, changing room, and plenty of room on the beach. An adequate snack and sundries bar as well. Pristine sand and water. In fact they have won some awards for environmentally sound and clean beaches. Well done, Town of Venice.
White sand, well maintained with life guard on duty. Very busy right at the main part of the beach. Super swimming, great long walks and of course great sunsets. Good fascilities with washrooms and restaurant. Parking can be a problem when busy.
lovely clean beach, not many people on it when we went. we walked for miles at the sea edge. There were toilets, showers and a café/shop all on the sea front and free parking
Clean and beautiful. Sunsets are a regular gathering with various activities like a band or performer in t he snack area.

My recent visits involved taking my ailing father, and I could not have been more impressed. He was wheelchair bound and everyone there did everything they could to accommodate him. They have a beach wheelchair which...
