We came here one afternoon having read the other reviews on TA. Lots of interesting plants to look at....we came on bikes so no charge ($5 for a car), and got a self-guided brochure from reception. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Stayed here so this was part of where we were for 5 days! Gorgeously maintained and such a wonderful variety of plants nad flowers!

Absolutely excellent. 2 hour walk. Beautiful gardens. Very fun and informative. Priced right at $5 a person. The head gardener knows her stuff and you can tell she loves it.

If you have an opportunity to visit the Botanical Garden at Sanibel Moorings, do so. The resort is open to the public on Wednesdays for $5.00 for the tour. We stayed at Sanibel Moorings and everyday noticed a new plant / tree we didn't see the day before. The gardens were lush and beautiful. Highly recommend. There was a sign saying they did tours on Tuesday mornings. Not sure if it open to the public or just guests.
