Did not like that there was not enough history, but really enjoyed the beautiful little buildings. The place was very clean.

Several members of my family went to the historic village. It was insightful and informative. Our tour guide had a heavy accent and didn't talk loud enough to be heard by my aunt who is hard of hearing, but she was very nice. We enjoyed the tour and had a few laughs. The price is very reasonable and the tickets...

Took a break from the beach to go to the historic area. They had a quaint farmers market going on and I would highly recomend spending a couple of hours there.
Historic Pensacola Village is a great asset to the community and an outstanding project of the University of West Florida. A very reasonable price for a guided tour with a knowledgeable docent. Tour includes a series of restored historic homes and commercial buildings all within an easy walk of shops, ice cream and other entertainment venues.

Historic Village is not what one expects to find in a beach town, but there IS in downtown Pensacola a historic district teeming with charming homes, museums, galleries, restaurants and more. Don't miss the walking tour led by a costumed docent who brings history to life.

The Pensacola Historic Village is small....but it's well worth spending several hours there! The admission price is very reasonable, the exhibits are very thorough and well documented, and the tours are very interesting. Essentially the Village consists of several homes, a church, and two museums--one of commerce and one about industrial history. The Village also is near the port and...

Makes for a great afternoon stroll taking a look at the historic homes downtown. Although Pensacola is one of the oldest cities in the country, don't expect to see anything older than 120 years or so as hurricanes and battles over time have eliminated the oldest structures.
If you are in Pensacola to visit; this and the Naval Museum should be on your list. Very nice area with well kept houses. A throw back in time.
The Historic Pensacola Village was very interesting. It presents the history of one of the oldest Spanish settlements (eventually also French, British, Confederate, and USA) in the United States. The village presents this history with several historic buildings. Each building represents a different period in Pensacola's history with the oldest representing the Spanish settlement in 1805 or so.

This area in Pensacola is filled with old homes, some converted into nice cafe's, a wonderful park area where there is always some kind of event being held. My friends and I enjoyed going to the Evening in Seville and listening to the different kinds of music and having a picnic type of meal. When in Pensacola this is a...
