Captiva Cruises offer a variety of boat trips and we chose to do the trip to Cabbage Key. Captain Bob was very knowledgable about the area and seemed to be able to answer all questions posed. In route, we saw a ton of dolphins (so if your looking to do more, I'd skip the dolphin-specific cruises). Cabbage Key offered a... More

We took our 2.5 yr. old on a dolphin cruise and she LOVED it!! So did we! The dolphins came right up to the back of the boat and jumped and danced - - putting on their own show! And, even saw a baby dolphin. It was great..... that said, don't expect much else to go on. Saw two sets... More

It is late in the afternoon and runs for about an hour and a half. You will see dolphins, osprey, manatees, pelicans and so much more....

We've done this type of cruise before, and have always enjoyed them. This year's left from the heart of Captiva and went just beyond the break between the Island and North Captiva. It was very low-key but none the less very pleasurable. We traveled along with a few dolphins, then stopped to watch the manatees for a while before sunset... More

While vacationing in Sanibel we decided to go on a Dolphin watch with Captiva Cruises. It was the best value of the ones we researched and turned out to be a great trip. The crew keep a close watch out for Dolphins and we saw lots of them. Also took some great shots of dolphins racing along side the boat.... More

Decided to take daytime cruise to Ussepa island. This island is only allowed visitors taking this cruise or if you have purchased property there. It it also rich with history and delicate fauna. The trip to the island was relaxing. We listened to interesting facts about all the other islands we encountered along the trip. Got to see dolphins playing... More

The boat ride was enjoyable and the island was very interesting. Trees had been damaged by a storm a few years ago and parts of the island look like a deserted island. Saw a couple of interesting birds and the shelling can be good depending on the day.

My boyfriend and I decided to take a sunset wildlife cruise on our last night of vacation and we were both happy with that decision. We saw a breathtaking sunset and TONS of dolphins!!! They were eating at first and then started to play around. We were also able to see other wildlife. Our tour guides were well informed about... More

I loved the cruise to Cabbage Key. The trip was very informative. Cabbage Key was wonderful. We saw manatee and lots of dolphin on the boat and the bloody mary was wonderful. This was my favorite activity during my stay on Sanibel.

If you want to see Dolphins up close and take a relaxing boat cruise this attraction is for you. We departed from South Sea Island Resort for our 1 1/2 hour cruise. The narrator on board explained all the wildlife we encountered and everything you needed to know about dolphins. We saw many dolphins who dove in and out of... More
