The Bok Tower is a great place to experience the peace and tranquility of the 50 acres of ferns, palms, oaks and flowering foliage. The 205 foot marble and coquina Singing Tower is beautiful. It was definitely worth the trip out to see the Bok Tower. You can see it from miles away and the entrance fee is not high. We loved the stroll through the gardens, and got some amazing pictures of birds at the Window on the Pond. We enjoyed an unusual Cinco de Mayo celebration with a Mexican-themed carillon and a trumpet band. The garden is gorgeous and overlooks orange groves and the city of Lake Wales. Because it was an after-hours event, we didn't visit the gardens thoroughly, so it'll give us a good excuse to come back.

Take a camera, pack a lunch, and spread a blanket for you and your loved one. Nice picnic place. Great place to relax with a bottle of wine and let the day slip away.
