An interesting walkthrough of Hemingway's House. We did not take the guided tour (which is optional--no extra cost) and visitors may get more out of it if they took the tour. Thank you for your review. We actually just started our Summer 2013 project which includes painting the interior of the home (during slower summer months) and will start our redevelopment of the visual aids throughout the home upgrading the presentations with museum quality informational plaques. We hope you will be able to visit again after September 2013 to view the... More

This beautiful old has has alot of history. We did the guided tour which I'm glad we did. While it was very hot it was still a great tour. I don't remember our guides name but he kinda reminded me a little of Ernest! He did a great job leading us through the house and giving us some great fun... More

A great guided tour! You hear the all about Heminway through stories and tons of pictures. The house is a charming old house filled with those much talked about cats.

The house was very interesting. It had a lot of items from Hemingway's past. The grounds around the house were also quite interesting. The pool area looked very relaxing and one could just picture Hemingway sitting poolside enjoying a cigar.

Whether you are a fan of Hemmingway or not, you will enjoy this tour. The six toed cats are everywhere and pretty friendly. The guided tour was very informative. I enjoyed this tour better then the other tours in Key West. Hemmingway was quite a character!

THANK YOU very much for your 5-star review! Being from the UK you may be aware that Hemingway met his wife Mary while she worked for Time magazine in London. More
