Locally owned and operated since 1963, the Caribbean Club is one of the last relics of Old Key Largo. Both locals and tourists are at home in this watering hole filled with memorabilia from the Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall classic Key Largo that was filmed at this location. It boasts live music Thursday through Sunday nights, daily happy hours and a dog-friendly atmosphere. Come by car, boat or bike and enjoy stiff drinks, live music, and beautiful sunsets. « less

What can you say about a place that has been around since dirt was made and hasn't changed. I say thanks. I have been coming here since the 60's and it's all good. Coming to the club is like going back in time. The drinks are cold and the view is awesome. Don't rush, savor every moment you won't find... More

Folks that say the "service stinks" or the bartender is "unfriendly" or the bands were not to their liking just DON'T GET IT. The Carib is a locals dive bar, canned beer, well drinks in plastic cups, cash only, pool players, cover bands, smoke 'em if you got 'em, bring your dog night, hang out and have fun! This is... More

Went there to hang out with some friends. There was a band playing an they were ok. But no credit cards are accepted. The bartender was rude an for some reason they charge what ever they want for beer. One bartender charged me 10.50 for a budlight an a P.B.R. Went back about five minutes later an they charged me... she was very unfriendly to tourists, selection was poor, the place may be a landmark but it is a dump. ladies room didn't even have a working light, so had to leave door open to use. save yourself the heartache and visit someplace else. much better to choose from in the Keys.

Ok...first off...the Caribbean Club might not be for everyone. But read on and see if you think this place might be for YOU... This place is like the proverbial "Cheers" of the keys...where everybody knows your name (if you are a local that is). It doesn't get more authentically "key'ish" than the Caribbean Club. From the highway you will see... More

This is exactly the kind of place you would think the keys were all about! You walk in and feel like you walked back into your neighborhood pub! LOVED IT!!! Sitting at the bar with warm Gulf breezes blowing in... Or sit outside and take in the amazing view sipping on a cocktail! Didn't get to see the "night life"... More

it is like stepping back in time when you visit this old established bar in Key largo. The sight of the movie of the same name from the 40's it still looks the same and i think most of the original people are still there. The atmosphere is quite intense at times as quite a few bikers drop in on... More

Total crap hole. If you're not a local, the only reason to go here would be for the movie history. Didn't feel the slightest bit welcome. Went there one evening during a weekday, and it was dead. No live music that night. Everything about the place was rough around the edges and run-down, from the people to the structure itself.... More

Great spot for an Ice cold beer. You need to come in from the water because there's only big fans to cool you off. After reading other reviews about the staff/owner, we had a very good experience! Very nice and attentive.

Was recommended by a "local" to visit this waterfront bar. We loved the cold beers, scenic views, fun conversations, and spectacular sunset! It was especially fun to take a picture with the Humphrey Bogart statue and look at some of the "historical" pictures and things around the bar. This "cash only" bar is a true find in a beautiful spot... More
