This is a wreck that i could dive twice a day for a week, and not get bored. It was designed for penetration, with multiple long hallways, rooms and depth. The biggest grouper you'll see live here too.

I got my Advanced Open Water cert with Amoray and dove the Spiegel Grove as my "Deep Dive." Vis was bad that week, but the wreck was excellent, tons of wildlife.

It truly looks like what you would imagine an old dive wreck to look like. Lots of marine growth and opportunity for pelagic fish viewing.

I wasn't fan of wrecks but this one changed my mind. Was the most beautiful experience I ever had in a wreck. That enormous ship made me feel like I was flying like in a Sci Fi movie. The plantation of corals in the roof is something amazing by its nature. Highly recommend this dive.

This year marked my third trip to the "Grove". It's a dive site that is hard to get out of your blood once you have visited her on the bottom. I do NOT recommend this dive to the inexperienced. Most tour operators want at least an "Advanced" rating certificate from their dive passengers. All my dives have been in the... More

In order to see the entire ship a diver has to make multiple dives, lots of ship to see! Great swim throughs, amazing that in such a short period of time aquatic growth, etc..

This is a dive for advanced divers. You cannot see the wreck in one or two dives, it is that large and awesome. There will be current. It was a wonderful dive well within recreational limits

Your experience will depend entirely on your expectations and earlier diving experiences. The best during the dive was three BIG groupers, like 2 meters!

Went diving on the Spiegel Grove for my 23rd & 24th dives, working on my Wreck Diver specialty certification. Though I have a limited number of dives, this was actually the 6th wreck I've dived, and the sheer size of this wreck makes it a fairly unique experience. The current that is typical around this wreck requires pulling yourself down... More
