We took my cousin, visiting from Oregon. He was used to the East coast of FL and never realized how beautiful our area of Central FL was- the wildlife and the beautiful accessible locations. Homosassa Springs Park was a highlight of his trip

It was such a unique place and all the boaters and every where we went it was "Hoppin" and lots of activity! Live Music and good drinks.

A wonderful place to kayak. Also other types of boating. Manatee are plentiful and fun to watch. The water is very clear.

Visited paark here with friends. They had a viewing area for fish and manatees. It was wonderful. We will return on our next visit to this area.

If you want to see manatees in their natural environment, this is a great place to visit. There are some good restaurants on the river too.
