The Broadwalk is a great spot for people watching but the restaurants are very samey but great for breakfast.

This is a good way to spend time either by walking, jogging or cycling. There is a secial path for cyclers. The two extremeties of the broadwalk are less congested whereas the central part can be very busy and full of tourists and cheap souvenir shops. There were lots of little motels, restaurants and shops. The shops had pretty cheap tourist items like T-shirts, shot glasses, etc. We ate at a few good restaurants and a few lousy ones. It was great for people watching with people on roller blades, bikes, scooters, surreys, and just walking along.

Lots of room to stroll without getting run over by bikes and skaters and thing-a-mabob-rentals with lots of wheels. The Broadwalk is the best place in the area to bike ride, walk, or people watch. It is spacious with benches along the way to sit and relax. We hope to return to Hollywood again soon!

Tons of bars, chafes, restaurants lining the beach to have a cocktail or watch live music. Beautiful beach. Trying to find parking can be tough! Best bet is to pay to park in a garage instead of wasting an hour while driving round looking for a meter or pay lot beachside.

I don't quite understand the negative comments for Hollywood Boardwalk, it is what it is, a place for people from all over the world to come and enjoy a beach and a boardwalk and all that means: dive bars, dive restaurants, t-shirt stores, ice cream places and the rest. great to get exercise and choose a restaurant to eat out. Really disliked the fact that the city lets people of all ages (even some as young as four) ride tricyles recklessly on the boardwalk. They cut off pedestrians and cut off other cyclists
