Lakes Park is a great place to take your children. They have large play area and a mini water area for the kids to splash around in. I did see a huge alligator in the lake and at some places there is no fence so I wouldn't go by the lake itself

You have to pay for parking, and on the memorial day weekend it was very busy and I didn't see any dogs so thought it would be best to go somewhere else. Enjoyed the miniature train ride for the entire family and the bycle bicycles built for 2-4. One of the best county parks in southwest Florida for kids.

wether it's bicycling, walking, jogging, etc. this is an outstanding park. Beautiful grounds and lakes and so well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpbul.

Absolutely gorgeous place to walk around. It was a nice fresh clean environment, friendly people walking, absolutely refreshing. Enjoyed the gardens, the lakes, the wildlife.

Lakes Park is always a good time. Sometimes I head out just for a run around the lake. Other times we are headed for a birthday gathering or a concert in the park.
