Had a wonderful time. Easy enough to get in and out of. Walked around early in the am-saw lots of birds and even a few fish. No manatee however, red tide?

We rented a very nice new boat for the day. Cruised up to the tip of Captiva. Stopped off at the Cayo costa state park and hiked the island. I never knew it existed. Very fun day. The marina attendants were knowledgable and very pleasant. I would recommend this day trip to anyone who wants to explore by boat.
The price here is better than a lot of the others. You don't have to fight real strong currents if you have younger children. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We even ventured a bit off the path to explore some mangrove tunnels. Had a very nice time.
If you have a boat then this is where you want to be. You can also catch a water taxi or get a dolphin cruise. Float on by and enjoy the dock and restrooms if you need to.
Interested in seeing the beautiful waters of Pine Island Sound? Do you want to cruise the intercoastal waterway, have lunch at The Green Flash, South Seas Plantation, Cabbage Key or The Pink Elephant on Boca Grande? No better way to spend the day than renting one of the well equipped Grady White boats, powered by 150 HP Yamaha motors from...

My husband and I rented a canoe one day and then went back the next day to rent a motor boat. We had a lot of fun on both boat adventures.
In our canoe ride, we explored the mangroves, saw a lot of birds, fish, and a dolphin. We also enjoyed seeing all of the beautiful homes near the marina....

We were in charge of a small group of boaters on a weekend cruise to Sanibel. The marina has had major improvements and the staff provided excellent service to everyone.
This is a great marina! We have rented several boats from them, all have been in super condition. We have also rented kayaks. There is a really special kayak trail close to the marina that is so quiet and peaceful. All turns are marked and easy to read. We saw several manatees. I highly recommend it. We have always had...

Had a very nice morning kayaking in the mangroves surrounding PSM.
Fairly priced - two individual kayaks cost $53 total (inc lifejackets!)
There doesn't appear to be any set in stone time limit but when speaking to the staff they said a couple hours would get you around the route they advise.
Numerous manatees/birds to be seen, not forgetting the...
