At beginning of hike I asked ranger if I would get lost - she said "no" and handed me a map........Later, towards end of my hike another ranger stopped and asked me if I was okay/lost and I told him I was okay and not lost - very courteous rangers! I paid $2.00 to hike here - I did not... More

A must see for nature lovers. Florida as it was 500 years ago. Native plants, wildlife and walking trails abound. 11 Manatee's were swimming right next to me along the waterway. What a sight! Treat yourself to this special oasis in the middle of progress.

This was a nice little park tucked away in the middle of Fort Lauderdale's beach and water front. We rode our bikes here and it was a nice short ride.

Great, open green area with direct access to the beach via a tunnel. Large enough to walk, bike, run or skate round via the many marked trails. A lot of fauna and flora - not that much wildlife - though look out for the tortoises - often fighting over their bit of territory. Friday and Saturday at 10am you can... More

You can park here and take the underground tunnel to the beach. Nice area for a picnic. Restrooms are clean. We went on the segway tour around this history park and it was very interesting.

This is the first time we ever went to this park and we really enjoyed it. You can rent bikes, canoes, they also have a small concession stand with chips and sodas. We had wanted to go for a bit of hiking and it was great for that even though it is getting pretty hot in Florida this time of... More

The American Cancer Walk was held here. I walked with my brother, nice park, didn't visit the beach if there was a beach.

Was right across the street from our resort and being big into geocaching we decided to go take a walk through one day. $2 to enter per person. You can also drive through this park which was different. Saw some real nice waterways and we even had 2 monkeys run in front of us. We asked and they said there... More
