Loved looking at my toddler running as fast as he can to catch the birds on the watery sand, and my loved watching my dad trying to keep up with him.Halarious, toddler vs senior.

What a gorgeous place, in the last few days we have visited both Cocoa Beach and Daytona Becach. Daytona was our favourite by miles!
We parked at sun splash park which is free and has public restrooms and direct access onto the beach. The beach itself is super clean and we relaxed for a couple of hours paddling in the...

We stayed right on the beach for our week there so I'm unsure if there are fees to go onto the beach. It was wonderful each morning just sitting on our patio watching the waves. First thing in the morning is the best time, when there is just the occasion jogger. The beach is kept very clean and there was...

We set up our umbrella, brought lunch and enjoyed the view along the beach. The area that we went to did not have a food truck as other beaches that we visited had so be sure to bring beverages.

Volusia County may want to consider providing pet owners with a Permit.. special training class for pet owners and pets to review rules and possibly 'qualify' for beach access, possibly during morning and evening hours after the crowds leave.
beach is great... been down there when it is cool and it is not as good then. been there while breezy and cold and it makes for a tough weekend.
The beach is clean, flat, and the sand is great for sand castles and such. Unless you're early, which my experience showed me anytime before 11am, parking was a bit of an issue. Beach is beautiful and clean. Did not like cars being allowed on beach. Have to worry about getting run over while crossing beach and distracts from the beauty.
Beautiful beach, soft sand, lots of shells and a clean public restroom with a small park. If you get hungry, you can get a snack on the boardwalk.
Nice clean beach, low waves, not overly crowded.
We were on South Beach in Miami several years ago and were not impressed! You hear how Daytona is run down, but their beach was great.
It is clean with very little trash. The waves were perfect for my 2 and 5 year olds to play in, shallow water. Few bugs. The...
