$75 dollars a person for old stale bread, butter w cinnamon sprinkles, crappy salad and the culprit, cold pasta with cheap tomato sauce, a bunch of black olives and some zucchini slices, in a kids size portion ( a ramekin size). Oh, a side of green beans. AWFUL! That was my pasta primavera. For my husband I had chosen Prime... More

My fiancé and I did our tour through WADE TOURS INC out of Schenectady, New York. We had bus problems in getting there but the train and boat tour where excellent. The weather wasn't to bad. Could of been warmer. A suggestion is to wear a jacket on the boat. It was windy for us and glad we had ours.... More

We took 5 kids ages 8-16 and they all had a great time. It's rather touristy, but for kids to ride on an old steam train and a river boat in one afternoon was fun. The staff was great and the commentary interesting.

This was a nice experience in February when the family is cooped up and looking for something different to do. The staff is very friendly and does a good job narrating historical facts. Recommend for older children since the ride is 2.5 hours. Bring your own snacks or they have pastries, snacks, hot beverages on board for purchase. We saw... More

If you or your family have never been on a train before, this is the place to go. We brought our 3 year old grandson, and our 1 year granddaughter. At first we had planned to do the full experience with the riverboat, but we decided against it. It would have been too much. We arrived early to take pictures... More

I remember my father taking me down to see the last steam train make the run from Boston to Washington DC in the 50's and marveling at this belching, groaning art form straining from the station like an ogre with the rope across his shoulder. Wonderful trip up the Connecticut river. Great Cars lovingly restored. Can't wait to share this... More

I purchased these tickets in August the minute they went on sale and the Saturday evening trains were sold out within 45 minutes. There's a reason this event is difficult to get tockets for. It is a magical adventure to the North Pole complete with Santa, Mrs. Claus, elves, singing, hot chocolate and cookies. I will never forget the excitement... More

Wonderful experience. We had Snow Flake for our elf who is a repressed Broadway performer. Lots of laughs. Kids ranged from 7 down to 4. All loved it, as did the parents. Well worth the cost.

My wife and I just went on the North Pole Express train with our 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 year old kids and memere. We were a little nervous after our poor Thomas the Tank Engine experience in Newport, RI. We went online to purchase tickets and saw that no tickets were available on the evening we wanted. I called... More

Brought the family, a great fun way to spend the day, with the antique steam train and steamboat ride, ended having dinner at the Griswold, a great fun day with the family.
