“Loved them all!”

I absolutely love Canyon Wind Cellars. Not only are all of the wines delicious but the scenery is breathtaking. I have snapped several gorgeous photos here! I have recently moved and I will definitely be having wine shipped to me.

“Very Fancy Tasting Room”

Driving up we could see that their production was large and they had spent a lot of money on the tasting room. They however had a very limited number of wines and unfortunately for me they were all dry wines, no semi sweet even.

“The perfect setting for a winery.”

Canyon Winds looks like something you would see featured in Bon Appetit. The picturesque setting of vines, shade trees, a low stone wall and white wooden chairs is not to be missed. The wines are good and Jay, the owner, is obviously striving to improve all aspects of the operation. Small but very good gift area also.

We went to this winery the first time for Spring into Barrel May 2012 and it was FANTASTIC! The people offering tastings were friendly and enjoyable to talk to, the wine is absolutely amazing (esp if you like drier, full bodied red wine), and the views are stunning. “Out of the way but worth it!”

Small winery located off the beaten path in Palisade. We sampled the wine tastings and were pleased with several choices. We purchased a glass wine and enjoyed the quiet setting under the shade trees next to the vineyard.

“Beautiful place for a wedding!”

Our son and his bride chose this place for their wedding, and it was a gorgeous setting. The owners were very accommodating and helpful, and best of all, let them have total control of the event. Highly recommended and their wine is phenomenal, too!

“Great winery, great tours”

This winery has been our favorite for years. Great wines, lovely picnic area near the tasting room, and great tours. Off the beaten path by only a mile or two, but well worth the visit.

“Love the wine and the place!!”

We had so much fun at Canyon Winds. The tasting room was so warm and inviting. The women answered all our questions and were so personable. The wines were very good. We wil most definitely be back!!
