Wonderful Zoo! The new elephant pavillion is so nice. The zoo is also very clean. We went on the little train and the merry-go-round. There are several food stations - or bring a picnic. Enjoy! Tip - purchase a membership - it is a great value.

It was hot and there were tons of school kids visiting the same day we did but our kids had fun anyway. Most of the animals were sleeping due to the heat and the elephant show that we raced across the zoo to see was terrible as they were training their young rhino for shows instead of using the elephants... We stop at zoos in every city we visit and I found the Denver zoo only so-so. The collection is small. They did have a very kid friendly cafeteria and a neat African Wild Dog enclosure.

It is a nice zoo, The animals seem healthy and treated well, you are not overwhelmed by the smell of animal filth. It is a beautiful, uplifting place to visit, great for kids.

The Denver zoo used to be a very small zoo but they are constantly upgrading the habitats and with the addition of the new pachyderm exhibit it makes for a nice (full) day. Lots of animals, lots of info, lots to do. Great way to spend a day with your family and kids. Or even multiple days with your kids.... More

The zoo is so very nice and the new section was nice to see. It was a peasent trip as i was recovering from bsck surgery and had to walk alot which i did and plenty of places to rest. Price is good also. Joyce

Have to say this was one of the best zoos in the country...they have pretty much every animal, the layout is very good. The elephant show is a must see! You can see everything in about 3 hours.

We had a wonderful day at the Denver Zoo. It is not as big as the world famous San Diego Zoo, but it has a good amount of animals & exhibits. We were pleased at the diversity of the animals and the size of the exhibits. We spent about 4 1/2 hours walking around and never had to double back.... More
