We stopped looking for a place to fish (no fishing) but the kids had a blast checking out the different animal displays. They had alot of interactive displays for the kids. Great way for them to learn more about animals.

Easy access from Colorado Springs on paved roads. Great scenery, abundant wildlife, and varied trails provide opportunity for everyone to enjoy the outdoors. Helen Hunt Falls makes for a good stop along the road. Highly recommended for hiking and can be enjoyed even if you only have a couple free hours in Colorado Springs.

We were part of a group that biked down the old railroad track. We started with first light and hit an amazing spot just as the sun came over the horizon. What a picture - mountains, shadows, city in the valley and a huge orange ball just lighting up the ski. Worth the ride because it is beautiful scernery.

So many great pictures and views to enjoy. The drive through the park is absolutely beautiful. This park was free to enter and has a gorgeous waterfall to check out as well.

This is a city park that is truly a gem. The park is national park quality, free, several great hikes, lovely picnic spots, areas for climbing and bouldering. Excellent, well marked trails with beautiful scenery. Nice variety, pretty views of the Broadmoor. A good workout!
