I have been to this falls before but this time it was roped off due to unstable rocks. Definitely disappointed but understand the risk. The water was huge and could see it from a distance, can't imagine what it would have looked like if we could have taken the path to it.

If you are around Boulder or Nederland, it's a must see. There are bannisters and steps down, but they aren't uniform so you need to be in somewhat good shape to navigate them.

as you travel up the boulder canyon, it is worth your while to visit the falls at different seasons. The scenery seems to change each time.

If you are driving through the beautiful Boulder Canyon from Boulder to Nederland, it is worth a short stop to see the falls. However, comments from those who say it's a site to drive to and is wonderful are totally exaggerated. It is a stop worth only the ten minutes it takes to walk and see the falls. Perhaps many... As you walk along the steps there isnt a guard rail. Needless to say we were all in a panic. Its worth it once you get to the falls themselves and are able to enjoy the sound of the water and the view of the rocks.

It was a short walk to a nice view. We enjoyed driving the winding roads and the views along the way. Made for a good day trip.

These falls are not readily visible as you drive past. However, the short hike to view them is worth a trip or a short break to have lunch near the falls or along the river.

There are lot of places to visit, a short drive from Boulder and Boulder Falls is one of them. Good place to visit for families with children. There also a lot of walking trails nearby.

Boulder Falls is actually on North Boulder Creek (a photo I see with this entry is of a cascade on the main stem of Boulder Creek). The short walk to the falls is closed from late fall to early spring owing to rock falls. If you live somewhere without waterfalls, maybe this seems special, but it is rather pedestrian compared...
