This is one my favorite theaters in the Napa/Sonoma Valley to see a movie. It's a beautiful old theatre with beautiful old-time actor pictures galore on the walls, actual love seats in the seating area, and at times, the theatre owner personally introduces the film and announces upcoming community events. Hot coffee or chocolate, along with pop corn or home-... More

Love to see movies in this theater that hasn't changed much from theaters I went to as a child. They have real butter on their popcorn!

We saw, "Lincoln" in this great old movie house. Everything they do is to capture the feel of seeing a moving picture from 80 years ago. Every seat has a good view of the screen...maybe not quite as comfortable as the modern seats, but who cares, The deco is fun. Didn't look like the balcony was open. It would be... More

A classic and right in the heart of downtown Sonoma, walk outside and go for dinner or a drink. Always great movies and entertainment.

Little things that are making it better. You buy your tickets indoors rather than outdoors behind a glass shield. Ice cream bars upstairs and downstairs. But best of all, a much better mix of movies and that is what counts.

This theater was built in the early 1930's and is rather Spanish Moorish in design. It has good movies, just not the action/shoot en up type. The little lobby is charming and you will enjoy the old fashioned feel to the place. Another plus for the Sonoma Plaza!

I love this theater! From the ticket booth at the entrance you feel like you are travelling back in time. The manager let us visit this gem, he is really passionate about keeping this magical place alive. He explained that it was originally founded by the Sebastiani family (winery-owners) in the '30s. They have movies, concerts and plays, and the... More

Vintage film series night and watched Bonnie and Clyde on the big screen. Lovely old theater and great to have something else besides drinking and eating to do on the Plaza. Sound was great and the theater is still in decent shape. Keep this place in business and go see a movie there if you are from out of town!

And they are restoring it. It's still a little dated. Catch an older film -- they show one a month or so. Also have live performances. Check it out. Oh, and you have to see the lobby decorated at Christmas time!

Great theater. A nice change from the large movie houses. Just needs air conditioning
