One of the best places in Paso Robles for really solid wines at excellent prices. A true undiscovered gem. Worth the time to go there.

Be careful getting off the 101 on the right street, as Paso Robles insists on making streets difficult. John poured our wine when we arrived and was a walking book on wine, etc. Very nice place, very nice guy. Write out all your questions, he will know everything! Heck, I dislike wine and I even was getting into it!
This is a beautiful place among the rolling hills. Don't let the windy dirt road scare you from coming here. It's so peaceful.
My husband and I were a little reluctant to visit some wineries since we had our 10 month old baby in tow, but the girls here made us feel really comfortable saying children and dogs are welcome!...

Went here on the advice of a friend. So glad we did. It's a small winery with just afew employees. The reds were solid and they ere kind enough to let us taste from the barrels. They went out of their way to answer all of our questions about wine and the process. Since we were able to meet the...

Visited Ecluse with one of my daughters and her husband. It was a chance visit as my daughter picked it at random from an app on her i-phone. This is a small family run operation, just the owners and 3 employees. All their vines are tended by hand, not machine. This plus the extra dedication in crafting the wines makes...

We did a quick trip to Paso Robles for the holidays (our first time up there) and upon suggestion of several people we swung by Ecluse. They had some tasty red wines and had friendly staff. The coolest part was being able to taste a 2011 wine that was still in barrels and half of the wine was in French...

We stopped here based on the recommendation of our inn keepers. This was the first winery they recommended, and gave us confidence in their other recommendations.
We visited late in the afternoon on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. The small barrel room doubling as a tasting room was packed, but the owner made a place for us at the bar. The...

Ecluse is one of the best wineries in Paso. It is indeed a small production; and one that consistently produces awesome wines. The owners and staff are some of the nicest most gracious people you will encounter. They usually will offer up some barrel samples as well. All in all a great experience and we always make it a priority...

Ecluse is consistently amazing. The wines, the people, the atmosphere are predictably fantastic. They are a smaller production winery that really focus on producing consistently great wines. Don't expect a fancy tasting room experience, but you can definitely count on partaking in some of the best wines in Paso. They also try to keep their price point reasonable, which continues...

We just returned from another visit to one of our favorite winery’s in Paso, Ecluse. The tasting room was full, as this years new releases have just come out. Not to mention they are still picking and crushing grapes. Yet Steve and Pam, the owners/winemaker, were as gracious as ever and took the time to talk to everyone about their...
