We live close by, but a visit to this church is like a trip to Europe. Beautiful setting for a concert, wonderful restoration of the mosaics, redwood, stained glass and lighting. Always makes you feel grounded.

A beautiful building and grounds. If you're in the neighborhood, it's worth stopping and taking a few moments to admire.
I was fortunate to attend a couple different weddings at the Stanford Memorial Church. It's simply a truly beautiful place to spend any time in, even the kids seem to sense the serenity and change their usual behaviour in accordance.
Great place to visit. So much history and style. They have evenets every night, most are free for Stanford students and faculty.

Catch a music recital if you're in the area. Wonderful acoustics. Beautiful stained glass windows. The organ is out of this world.

We attended mass on Sunday afternoon and then returned the next day so see stained glass during the day. Spectacular church steeped in history. Incredible organ, wood, and stained glass. A must see if you're in Palo Alto as is the campus in general.
