Wow is all I have to say. The tram was amazing. The tram rotates two times along the way up and down so you have a great view from any place. Suggestion gets there early. The later in the day the more crowds there will be. Be prepared for the temperature I went in June it was 102 in Palm... More

Be sure to take time to go up in the Tamway. You will go up a total of 8000 ft. Be sure to go on the 1-2 mile scenic trail once you reach the top. Take a bottle of water with you, and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Over 50 miles of hiking trails at the top of the mountain. Purchase a $2.00 map of the hiking trails at the top station, get a free hikers permit, and enjoy the cool summer air atop the mountain while you hike the trails. Take a few bottles of water in a backpack for each person, if you're going to hike... More

Amazing views, great opportunity for hikes away from the sweltering Palm Springs heat! The trails are well marked. Bring lots of water!

Spectacular views and great hiking at the top. Cafeteria style food available as well as a sit down restaurant. Pricy to eat there. Consider this a must do in Palm Springs.

Really fun, especially if you have a fear of heights. Very safe and simply one of the best views on the planet. Beats St. Moritz and that saying something.

Living in the Palm Springs Area, I hadn't been on the newer Tram Car, but decided to spend a day with the family hiking in a cooler climate. We had a great time, the ride up is spectacular! Decided to get the summer pass to make a regular habit of experience. They have have a cafe to eat while your... More

We went up early on Sunday morning on Memorial Day weekend to beat the rush and it was a good call. It was really busy by the time we came down. Breakfast on the terrace at 8,500ft in the cool mountain air, when it was in the 90s in the valley was wonderful. The trails at the top are well... More
