We were traveling throughout California for 14 days. We stayed on Cannery Row, and loved being able to see so much by simply walking along the trail. It was refreshing to see so many bikers, walkers, and young parents with strollers, enjoying this wide path that extends along the Pacific. We took MANY photos, while enjoying getting some fresh air... More

We walked the path from a point north of Cannery Row to the south end of Pacific Grove. The views are beautiful and there are several opportunities to see seals up close. There are also a number of shops and restaurants along the way. We would have rented bikes, but I was not able to ride at that time. We... More

Day or night the trail meanders along the shore and thought out the local business's. We stopped at a little deli close to the Plaza Hotel and had a great lunch then found a little Spa next door called Monterey Day Spa. Walked in, and had a awesome massage and facial. Un-expected pleasures when your wandering around.

Free! Considering the price of some area attractions, this is a delightful way to exercise and see the sights. Well maintained and marked trail. I was able to access right from my hotel property at the La Quinta Inn.

The trail had nice plantings, and was clearly marked. The views of the ocean and wildlife(seals, birds, etc) were wonderful.

I encountered this trail, paved, as it was included in my route with my bike event, the Sea Otter Classic Granfondo on April 20,2013, and I have to say I was really surprised and pleased with the experience. My route started and ended in Laguna Seca Raceway, so I had to use city streets to get to the trail, but riding... More

Great views of the the Pacific are offered along the trail. Get out and take a couple of walks. You could not see the Sea Lions because they had erected a fence. It is a residential community, so people are driving around. The fee is not too bad for the experience. It is worth doing, if you have never done... More

We walked a good part of the trail and took in as much as we could of the ocean views in preparation for the 17 miles drive. There are many places to sit and enjoy the view or park the bike and walk out to a point to get a closer view of the ocean. Lovers Point offers a 280... More
