A beautiful area of town, though we did get a bit lost trying to get there. The experience of being at a ball game where you could actually see the faces was great!

We have only been to the field 2 times and if you like baseball, this is a great venue...easy to locate and get to, baseball food and a good game....what else can you say about the 'boys of summer'

Nuts baseball is a great value. There is not a bad seat in the house, the tickets are cheap, the quality of play is good, and so too is the food. If you like baseball-or even if you are not a big fan-John Thurman Field is a great place to enjoy a summer evening.

It is a great way to spend an evening with the kids. My girls are not much into baseball. We attend once a year because the nuts host a free game ticket for accomplishing a reading goal the teacher sets for the classroom. The kids get to go on the field, meet the players, and get a hotdog and soda.... More

Loved watching the Modesto A's before they changed the name to the Nuts. Very nice statium for the City of Modesto. Attended the 1st wedding ever done on their diamond a couple of years ago with the reception there as well and it was unique and wonderful. Fabulous time. Minor league baseball at Thurman field is so much fun, great park, good food and not really a bad seat. For a night of baseball fun in the valley this place is almost as good as the Stockton Ports new stadium. Hope this review helps you.

It's a wierd name for a team "NUTS" but a nice place to see a game. Every seat in the park is great and it is cheap - under $10 for a general admin ticket. Thursdays are $1 beer nights!
