Just a short drive away to the top of the Santa Cruz Summit is the Regale Winery. These wines are just a wonderful tasting experience and to top it off ...the stunning view from the top of the summit is just gorgeous. You will not be disappointed, The Cab Franc is just superb ... full of life in a glass.
Regale Winery has a very nice facility in the hills. Particularly later in the day the view is lovely, though late sun in the summer is right into your eyes. The gardens are immaculate and inviting, and there are plenty of places to picnic or just relax, with a nice atmosphere. The wines are good, but not outstanding, and priced...

wonderful locale and grounds, with very good wine! nice to sample some wine and play a few rounds of bocce ball. We often stop here on our way back to Hwy 17 from Loma Prieta Winery.
The Regale Winery was stunning! The building reminds me of a Tuscan villa. There patio and surrounding landscape are perfect for a picnic. I was told by staff that they often host private parties as well. The wines were great, especially the pinot. The staff were very friendly and inviting. I will absolutely recommend this winery to friends and family...
