Great place for kids to burn off a little energy. I've met folks from back east,colorado, and all over San Diego. I feel the whole county is aware at what a great little park and rec center it is.

It was to my surprise to find the La Jolla Rec. Center because it's so close to home. It has a very nice playground for my toddler as well as a playground for slightly older kids in busy downtown La Jolla. My only complaint is that parents should leave their cell phones home while they are at the playground with...
