Great shops, wonderful restaurants. A great time in the heart of La Jolla. So much to see and do when you're in town.

There are quite a few boutique shops and art places in the area which are worth looking into. The sea breeze makes one's walk the most pleasant.

Nice shops, plenty of things to look at and enjoy. Saw a few cars jetting around the block, then we saw the 3 dealerships, for Ferrari, Lamborghini and Rolls Royce.

Plenty of spots in this area to get craft beers, fine wines, specialty cocktails, sea food, casual fare, ethic food, or fine dining. Parking is pretty easy to find if you are patient and if not the lots / garages are very cheap.

Prospect street is a great street to walk around and get acquainted with la Jolla shops and cafes, art galleries etc.... The people are beautiful! However the shops are very expensive and way over the top for my liking. It's good to see them all but not for buying. The cafes are great and highly recommend you trying them all.... More

La Jolla has tons of great dining and shopping choices. It's also very small and unique. Parking is a huge though. It takes 20-30 minutes to find a spot and when you do it's always so far away from your destination.

Want to go shopping for just about anything. Girard Avenue and Prospect Streets will have it. Also, many choices of really nice restaurants from casual to fine.

Not neary enough street parking, have to use parking lots and garages. Restricted parking every other space, changes from 2 hours to 1 hour to 15 minutes to 15 seconds in every block-- I kid you not. Shops are too expensive but there are great (pricey) restaurants most with ocean views.

Heart of La Jolla for shopping. Upscale corporate stores you could find anywhere. Many overpriced eateries. A few scattered gems but nothing memorable. Relaxed atmosphere for people watching. Had lunch 2 blocks away at Codys worth the walk. Organic cupcake place serves flavors I haven't seen before in cupcakes but bring your credit card.
