This is one of my favorite places to walk or ride bikes for exercise. It is a big beautiful beach with a large life guard presence. The wetlands are right across the street which is another gorgeous well maintained area for walking and bird watching.

This beach is so so. If you want $10 all day parking and basic amenities, come here. There are only three concession stands that all sell the same crap for way to much. If you park in the lot without food, you are out of luck so COME PREPARED. There is a boardwalk that runs the length of the beach... More

This was our first year we were able to make to the beach for the fireworks and it was great. We rode our bikes there about a half hour before the fireworks started. We could see the Long Beach and Newport Beach fireworks as well. It was very crouded but worth the ride. It only took us 10 min. to... More

I grew up on the east coast, and visiting my favorite beach (Ocean City, MD) was always enjoyable. I was always amazed at the way the beaches were cleaned by big tractors that sifted all the trash out of the sand. When we arrived at Huntington Beach, the first thing I noticed was how clean the sand was, and it... More

It's not every beach you can take your dog and let it play in the waves! So, if you want to have some fun and your dog too, this is the place to go!

Huntington Beach has a big beach. In the summer it is cleaned daily (groomed) to pick up garbage. The lifeguards are well trained and pull loads of people out of the surf every summer. Huntington Beach is referred to by locals as "HB" or "Huntington." There are fire rings for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows to make S'mores. There are... More

I love this beach. California is such an awesome state. I've been to a lot of beaches and this is one of my favorites. It's doggy friendly and people friendly. Awesome beach.

Great beach to relax and watch surfers. Once of the few beaches in California that allows bonfires. Great time to bring a few friends and start a fire at sunset.

Spent our last day of our vacation on the beach near the pier. Many stores and places to eat nearby. Mostly families sitting on the sand with kids playing in the water. Tons of people surf boarding further out in the water- fun to watch. There were places to rent surf boards close by too. The beach is so wide... More

Clean, beautiful - great sunsets! The pier is so much fun, restaurants right on the beach, dont' forget Ruby's at the end of the pier. Lots of wave action for boogie boards or surfers.
