Enjoyed the wine and was a nice location. The desert wine was different and special. Great labels on the bottles.
Living in wine country with 2 young kids, we've looked near and far for a place with great wines that could accommodate our family. From the moment we first arrived, the staff treated us and our kids like family and the amazing wines sealed the deal. We've been wine club members here for over 2 years and we've loved every... More
This is a small winery but one of the best small wineries we've been to. The wines are delicious, especially the Pinot Noir (even for those who don't traditionally like Pinot). The grounds are absolutely stunning, with their stone work and fountains and landscaping and flowers. The tasting price is low for the area ($10). The decor of the tasting... More
I joined this winery early in 2013 and I love the wines, people, monthly events, garden, fruit and herb trees and outside patio. It is so relaxing. I met the wine-maker this weekend and she is very nice and young and talented. Her wine is very delicious and the bottle labels are gorgeous because her graphic designer husband creates them.... More
The wine tour was excellent and the server did a great job proving the history of the vineyard and artwork on the bottles. One of the labels began as a love note and was incorporated into the selection. Must stop along the Russian River. Tasting room is very spacious and the grounds have ample room to sit outside and enjoy... More
Such a beautiful place to spend a few hours with some delicious wine and snacks. They have a patio with large tables and umbrellas where you can order from the tasting menu. Redwood trees are in all directions yet the view is wide open across endless grape vines. A "sense garden" (If I am remembering the name correctly) is situated... More
We were staying at the Farmhouse Inn and came here because it was one of the wineries on their "partnership list" (aka waived tasting fee, yay). The wines here were pretty wonderful - their chardonnay is definitely special as are the dessert wines. The intricate label design on the bottles is also some of the most creative and detailed wine... More
Picked this one at random whilst driving through the area. The wines were very good and quite reasonably priced. Tasting pours were generous. The gardens outside were very pleasant and we were able to enjoy our picnic to the accompaniment of a bottle of their excellent Chardonnay.
We were here visiting Thursday 1-3-13 around 3pm and the young lady conducting tastings was amazing. She was so knowledgable and made me and my partner feel very special. This is a great place to stop in and visit..... Don't miss it.
If your wine tasting adventure takes you down westside road from Healdsburg to Guerneville (and it really should) you must stop at VML. The wine maker, truly talented Virginia, specializes in Pinot Noir but every wine I have had there has been great. Wines are an exceptional value and every time I bring friends there they always find some to... More
