Thsi trail is kept up by volunteers, and gets better every year. It was recently re-landscaped and expanded. Take a walk along the Gualala River, with the ocean in full view. Sit on a bench and admire the scenery.

Trail is relatively flat and in good condition. Leads down to a great wide open beach. Definitely not a place to swim as the undertow and riptides are pretty intense. Good for beach combing and dog walking.

A beautiful little trail which is well maintained by volunteers. You can walk the length of town but on the bluff. A great place to watch pelicans and view the entire Gualala beach.

This little trail is short but pretty and scenic. The birds have been fed well as they are ready for more and many fly in as you toss the little pieces of morsels.....the little moochers ;).
The fox too is friendly but we didn't offer a snack as he may have wanted more than cracker tid-bits and I wasn't willing...

Take this trail from your accommodations to any number of places along the mouth of the Gualala River. A safer and more beautiful way to enjoy Gualala than walking along the road.
