- Late start. - Basically you rent a pole, get on the boat, rig your pole, bait your hook and try to catch a fish - If you ask, the crew will help you if they have time - Be prepared to get wet - Dress warmly - Bring a towel to wipe your hands after handling the bait and... More

We had a super trip. Saw two pairs of mom and calf. Also several bottlenose dolphins. Narrator extremely knowledgeable.

The ''tale'' end of the longest animal migration is going on now, thus seeing the mother's and calves quite possible other than going to Mexico to witness. Truly remarkable. The two hours pass ever so fast with the viewing of the huge whales, and new little ones. The crew has extensive knowledge which they share readily.

My fiancé surprised me with a day out on the ocean fishing. I love fishing, but I had never been sports fishing. My 12 year old son was completely free with an adult paid ticket so the price was even more economical than what we thought it would be. The fishing boat was extremely clean compared to what I had... We liked the educational information from the marine biologist and the sighting of six Gray Whales. They breached which is considered a special sight.

We went on a 1/2 price Tuesday. Despite the fog and chilly weather, we saw Dolphins, fin whales, and a mother and calf grey whale. We also slowed down on the way back to see a sun fish, which was HUGE! We live in land-locked Colorado, so the thought of a trip like this seemed so cool, and it was... More

Great trip, there was an Orca spotted by some other boats, the dolphins raced past us trying to get away. Our captain was fantastic as he kept us updated and discussed the effect an Orca can have on all other creatures in the sea. He kept searching, and found several pods of dolphins that came and played with the boat.... More

While our trip on the Dana Pride didn't produce any whales, our captain heard on the radio of a huge pod of dolphins some distance away from us - actually, about 10 miles out. They usually only don't go beyond 7 miles from shore. Anyway, the captain put the "pedal to the metal" blowing his effort at fuel consumption by... More

We had a good time on our boat ride saw some dolphins but no whales. They gave us 50% for 4 people on our next trip. The only thing that bothered me was that while on the boat we bought a hot chocolate that tasted terrible so mu husband asked if we could get a coffee instead and they wanted... More

If you want your kid(s) to learn about fishing have them go on Sunday when they do a presentation before the trip just for kids. It's a nice start to the trip. Of course on some weekends the boat is going to be packed, this is not a charter! Galley food is decent, last time the hamburger I had was... More
